The lustrous shimmer
that recurs
in the eyes of humans
belongs to all groups and families.
Under our present state
of ignorance
a difficulty arises
in deciding
if it is a secret weapon.
And we have discovered
humans put their arms
around each other
and they bleed a water
from their eye
by a means beyond
our present understanding.
It is unknown in Volperia
to bring together
individual bodies
and there is no correlation
in appearance.
Earthlings are all similar,
and connect, we think,
when the glow shows
in their eyes.
